At Bois et Chiffons, to ensure your purchases are protected, we provide a Certificate of Insurance with every order that meets our coverage criteria. This certificate ensures that your valuable furniture is insured during transit, giving you the confidence that your items are protected from the moment they leave our warehouse until they arrive at your door.

What does the insurance certificate cover?

  • Damage during transport:
    If your item is damaged during delivery, our insurance will cover the cost of repair or replacement.
  • Lost and found:
    In the unlikely event that your order is lost in transit, our insurance policy ensures that you will be compensated for the full value of your purchase.

How to make a claim:

  1. Inspect your delivery:
    Upon receipt of your order, please carefully inspect the items for any visible damage. If any damage is found, inform the delivery staff and clearly note the problem on the delivery note.
  2. Contact Us Immediately:
    Contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your delivery. Please provide details of the damage or problem, along with photos, if applicable.
  3. Evaluation and Resolution:
    Our team will evaluate your claim and coordinate with the insurance provider to ensure a prompt resolution. Depending on the circumstances, you may receive a replacement, repair service, or a full refund.

General Conditions:

  • The insurance certificate is only valid for damage or loss occurring during transport.
  • This does not cover damage caused by improper handling after delivery or problems resulting from improper assembly of the furniture.
  • Claims must be submitted within the time limit to be eligible.
