Shipping and Delivery Information

At Bois et Chiffons, we strive to make sure your order gets to you as quickly and easily as possible. Here are the details of our shipping and delivery process to help you better understand our commitment to a hassle-free shopping experience.

Shipping locations:

We currently ship to the following locations *subject to change:

  • Metropolitan France
  • Corsica
  • Belgium
  • Luxembourg
  • Germany
  • Swiss
  • Spain
  • Italy

Please note that we do not deliver to islands or high altitude towns outside mainland France.

Shipping methods:

  1. Express Delivery - Delivered to your door:
    Your order will be delivered on a pallet directly to your door. If you live in an apartment building, delivery will be made to the entrance of the building. Please ensure that your delivery address is accessible for pallet deliveries.
  2. Premium Delivery - Delivered to place of use:
    This service includes delivery to the exact location you want the item, including upstairs delivery if required. Please check in advance for any potential access difficulties (e.g. narrow doorways, stairs) to ensure a smooth delivery process.
  3. Collection point - Pick-up on site:
    If you wish, you can collect your order directly from our collection point at 877 route du puits Gérard, 13105 Mimet, after making an appointment.

Delivery times:

You will be informed of estimated delivery times at the time of your order. Once all items in your order are available, we will arrange for shipping. In some cases, orders may be delivered in multiple shipments.

If you need to delay your delivery, simply add a comment during the order process, and we will be happy to accommodate your request.

For deliveries outside of metropolitan France, customers are responsible for all taxes and customs duties in their respective countries. Bois et Chiffons is not responsible for any taxes or fees that are not paid by the customer.

Important information:

  • Please check your order upon delivery to ensure all items are intact and undamaged.
  • If goods arrive damaged, refuse delivery and note the damage on the delivery note. The phrase "subject to unpacking" is not legally valid, so please be sure to specify the problem.
  • If the delivery person refuses to allow you to inspect the package, you can refuse delivery.

In case of delivery delays:

In accordance with the Consumer Code (Articles L.216-1 and L.216-6), if your delivery is delayed by more than 7 days compared to the date indicated at the time of ordering, you have the right to cancel your order, unless the delay is due to a case of force majeure.

Inaccurate delivery information:

If we are unable to deliver your order due to incorrect delivery information, access difficulties or the buyer not being there, additional delivery charges may apply. Bois et Chiffons will contact you to arrange payment before rescheduling delivery. If these charges are not paid, we reserve the right to withhold delivery of your product.
